I used to work for Waymo, and it uses guard rail like mapping technologies with sonar and there is a team helping it around blocks or curves that they can see 24 seven on all of the camera feeds that they can view, control and monitor off the a custom console. so in other words, it’s not exactly AI. But there are other examples out there of that is. 😃
