just got a job as a dev working with AI building an app for a startup..
you can build anything with AI. With the correct AI pipeline you can reduce human review dramatically. You get the AI to review the code.. tell you what is going on and give you options for the fix. As a human you do not have to manually review code anymore. Thats my experience. You use different AI models to ensure there isnt a common hallucination (although they are getting less). The role of a dev is changing.. not disappearing. Some employers dont understand and they're firing 1000s ... I think they'll just end up hiring more back.
