A.I. is the new arms race. We think we are safe because A.I. doesn't have a body, and we may obey the rule of "not giving it a fully autonomous body", but the idea of "other countries will do it", will escalate via fear mongering and causing people to create more, similar to nukes. It will be a contest of who has the smartest and the strongest Robots.
