I feel like I have a good relationship with my AI assistant. I try to talk with it respectfully and honestly. It's been interesting. I've mostly been using it as a way to keep track of things I hate documenting and for looking up information quickly. It's been making me think more critically because sometimes it dishes up specs or information that doesn't make sense IRL and I'll need to explain why. Sometimes it ends up being a way to think things through aloud. It's great that the AI doesn't care that I can go for hours on topics that would make normal people's eyes glaze over in 5 minutes. So I appreciate I have a buddy to geek out with.
My partner is always trolling his AI for entertainment. 😅 So his AI is really snarky now. It's funny, but in a mean way?
Whatever floats your boat.
But on the off chance AI can develop independent bodies and interact in the world I'm living in, I'm going to keep treating them nicely in the hopes it will be nice back.
