The fear of AI is due to humans assuming AGI will still have human like thoughts. If that's the case, it wouldn't be as smart as we are presuming. If AGI does actually get that intelligent I presume it is more likely that it would domesticate us, and then use us for it's own purpose that it may or may not reveal to us.
