I think the point of 'Ai as a Reference' isn't meant to be used for detailed reference. Ai is a great tool for whimsical creativity that can inspire and even promote existing artists. But as a final product it will always be lacking. Because naturally the people who digest art are the ones with the eye for detail. But to the ignorant masses and the normal folk 'Haha its shrimp jesus' is all they would want to engage with and A.i provides and thats what the companies know and are trying to cater to with the funny llama bikini crowd.
