I hear this argument for ubi as some kind of Utopia when it looks the opposite to me: it would shatter the already thin illusion of vertical growth in society. It would cement a ruling class and a peasant class completely dependent on Ai and internet of which the owners would of course control and threaten to take from us any time they want. It would probly be so low that we d all be poor but fed. With no need for training us for a job that wont exist, we d probly be left with no public education too. It really sounds horrible.
