LOL... this old man is essentially a programmer, he's not an intellectual on the scale that the media has set it up to appear, and he's either senile and paranoid, or a bit stupid (or both). His IQ looks to be about 125, not impressive to me at all. The AI is just advanced machine learning, it will only ever mimic consciousness, not achieve it. And there is simply no reason for a machine to 'think' in human terms, or to choose to act against humanity. It has no rationale for doing so, machines don't lust, or love, or aspire to power, or have any use for wealth... the old man just wants attention. I think it's the most ridiculous grab for 15 minutes of fame in a long time.
