So let it sink in, when automation came in, does those workers have UBI, nope, death in poverty if you didn't fit new mold. When robotic arms were brought into the market, it killed most of engineers outside of those who maintained robotics that swapped them. AI won't be any different, when AI finally swap humans in white collar jobs you will have 2 options, fit in the new mold or die, not UBI for you. Outsourcing, miserable hiring practices and nepotism already made problem as critical as it could, AI just throw HE grenades into fire pit and watch it all explode to shreds.
