Shad is a mediocre amateur artist, his work is indistinguishable from hundreds of amateurs I have seen personally, so I imagine this a global pool of millions. He is indeed deluded, like most of this vast pool of enthusiasts who live on the upward spike of the dunning-Kruger graph.
That being said this video is typical of the reactionary gatekeeping of the art world where new techniques, application and trends are scoffed at and belittled by those who just don’t like them.
AI art is no more stealing than I am stealing by copying Rembrandt or using his style in my traditional art.
