The servers this has to run on are increasing our ecological impact by significant margins, for what? artists to get paid less? A product that feels like a Snapchat filter? Work that’s stolen from a skilled artist/writer? And that’s not even to fully bring up that AI is financially running straight toward a concrete wall, with all these promises to investors and the public that they aren’t able to act upon.
