Disabled artist here. After my injury I got to discover all the things I could no longer do in a straightforward way.
Working on my art was something I had control of, making art was an avenue where I still felt capable.
And when I found it difficult to find work because others couldn’t see past my disability, I was able to create my own financial avenue through my art and my connections to other artists.
Saying ai will help disabled people with art is just an ableist argument spouted by able bodied people who don’t appreciate that art is a skill you need to practice and work on.
