On average 60,000 people die every year in in the United States from automobile collisions. What will become of transportation technology in the future? I would like to explore a video that uses speculative design as a process. It's also not always about who will go to jail but, how does they system improve the safety after a collision? If the streets and vehicles can improve safety with autonomous vehicles then they should continue. If the autonomous vehicles are statistically safer than traditional flesh driven metal bulls, as the system self improves through more data, then people driving cars should be eliminated and slower, maybe even hydrogen filled bike pods predominate our transportation network. Including rockets with water vapor emissions, pretty cool stuff.
