Wow, these are very strong points and I haven't put all that much thought of it because I simply wasn't aware. Kinda shocked me really. I am loving the possibilities of AI and being an artist as well. I am also concerned about the same things, all at the same time as I'm using ai and getting deeper into it. The problem I see is that the damage is done and not sure how they are going to backtrack that, if even possible. So no I don't say any of the usual things you have heard, I am saying geeez, it seems to be too late, until we find a more complex and advanced ai that extracts how someone built an image, plus what the ai used and so on, just to be able to legally pursue that down the line, or at the very least credit everything used. Does that make sense? I just don't know what a solution can be. Seems to have gone to far without limitations too fast and they knew what they were doing. A pretty sticky situation. Hopefully we can come up with equally creative ideas to protect real people's art. With that said, I don't want ai art to go because it is fascinating and is giving me more ideas for my own art. So please we need more than why and start building creative solutions even if they are hypthetical. Thanks for the information Sam!
