boilerplate is still being pushed. When it's time to go to prod it gets quiet. But the C-tier sees the boilerplate. Meanwhile for higher level IT AI allows projects that would have never gotten off due to budget/time/you name it reasons. I have built so much good stuff with AI and am currently planning advisor AI agents. But level is scripting. e.g. connect to API, get data, swish swosh it around and make a report about it. Easy and low hanging fruit in AI era. But that is not what the AI visionaries saw back then.
