Do they swerve to avoid collision, yes but they programmed to swerve to the right and at very low speed. There is also a theory that wants all of the cars on the road ourselves driving that everything is going to be better. This is complete nonsense there will always be people driving their cars it is a right that they will not relinquish. Experimenting with peoples lives unproven technology is negligent homicide.
