Taking someone's work (I.E. mirroring it on another site), AI generated or not, is theft. There is no "fair use." Here's the rub, musicians steal from each other constantly. That's a fact. AI aside, if applying this to real life, most of the music we love would disappear overnight. If I was inspired by Jimi Hendrix, learned his licks & techniques and applied that to my own music, am I stealing? In essence, I am training myself the way an AI is trained. Observation and execution. The case being cited is comparing apples to oranges.
