The line between privacy, surveillance and big brother is watching you is horrific... Nowadays we know the companies trace every single detail of our daily life, they are inside our homes... they trace our phone (meaning our movement) they trace what we say and watch and browse... So, we are done...
Now this technology is aweful worst just because it goes the extra step... Asking the device to monitor your home and ‘by the way’ find me “the dog”.
Maybe 25+ years ago we thought about a “social network for security purposes” it was almost the same concept with a huge difference: NO BIG BROTHER monitoring us... You installed your camera, have the camera accessing the Internet, Have you register your own camera and allow people to ‘monitor’ maybe 5 people in your own network of friends... IT WAS seeking security, not comercial selling stuff and not monitoring you, you were the one who allowed others to see it... Now 2026, with the atrocities happening from government and big firms that sharing is riskier when automatically they allow themselves to your house, because the inside of your home is next...
