These are some great thoughts and explained really well. The human factor is soooo important. From a musicians point of view it is pretty similar. I feel like people who encourage AI, reasoning with: "You don't have to spend time learning", never had the actual joy of learning something. When I started learning instruments. it was because there is music that I love and wanted to learn. As a teen I imagined standing on stage with my idols. So I learned their songs (still do). Just like with art, it's more of a "striving for your idols" kind of thing. Out of respect. Out of love for their creations. You don't get that with AI. Imagine your AI-music playing without you standing on stage with your idols. That's kinda sad. When random people listen to your stuff for their first time and say: "That's really cool!" That's a unique feeling. It's the rare times I can be proud of myself. With AI, you can only really be proud of your computer...
