This is a tad alarmist. AI and automation will changed the future. But not at the cost of the people. New technology opens new ground while closing others.
It’s unlikely AI completely wipes out the working class in the next decade; disruption is more gradual and uneven.
But it will reshape which jobs exist, how tasks are done, and who captures value.
Workers who specialize, adopt digital literacy, and adapt will fare better.
Without proactive policies and sound business strategies, many communities and workers could suffer.
