I spent 32 years as a Boilermaker, Millwright,
now I'm beginning my 3rd year teaching Advanced Manufacturing/Industrial Technologies to high school students. The average age of a skilled worker in the US is 55 😢.
The average young person will have spent over 35k hours staring at a personal device by the age of 29. This is horrible. We are certainly at a pivotal moment in human history.
To be honest I'm personally terrified with the various scenarios of tomorrow WITHOUT adding AI. With AI, we are so F*@ked that I don't know whether to cry or laugh at the collective actions of the "intellectual elite" steering humanity into oblivion.....
