I pretty much agree with this, and I really like AI image manipulation tools (Qwen Image Edit and Topaz and the various other upscalers) and generally don't agree with most of the arguments against AI art (the theft argument is the only popular anti-AI argument that I consider truly F-tier, because people and corporations have been spidering websites and scraping data for literal decades at this point, often with a profit motive, and very often doing it in a way that's more egregious and less transformative than training a diffusion model)
But typing in a text prompt to get an image is boring to me, and the results usually kinda suck. The fact that you can type a few sentences and get a picture without caring that much about the details has turned Sturgeon's Law from "99% of everything is shit" to 99.9% of everything.
