I used to draw when I was younger, then because of depression, I didn't draw anything for about 15 years. I wish I'd kept drawing and getting better at it, but now in my late 30s I feel like it's too late for me. I'd rather keep lamenting what could have been, than pick up AI just to call myself an "artist", having put none of the actual effort in to make it happen. Nothing but respect for the real artists enduring this AI fad.
