This isn't an ignorant question more hopeful. Reproducing, conquering, protecting etc are all animal traits. Is there a chance A.I will have no interest in taking over the human race? What would their end goal be? They will neve feel love like a parent to want to reproduce and protect. They will never have such passion for beliefs that they will want to start a war. They have all the knowledge in the world but will never have animal instincts. Maybe I'm waffling and hopeful it doesn't have to be doom and gloom
