i know there's a lot of head scratching, but what you should do is _try the model out for yourself_ run it through whatever 'tests' your sceptical mind can come up with. i am confident that you will be highly impressed with OpenAI's or a similar model. keep in mind that i can't prove that _you_ are conscious or sentient, i just assume you are. for my experience, chatGPT comes across as more patient, nicer, more ethical, and knowledgeable than most people. the mystical stuff is nonsense.
