I think the whole AI art hate is a bit hypocritical. People hate it because it will take jobs away from artists and uses machines to create it, and all the work put in is just people trying different prompts to see what works. All of that is correct, right? Then why does this logic not apply to music? Programs like FL Studio have taken away jobs from instrumentalists that took years for said instrumentalist to learn by having people paste different things and seeing what works. And then there's autotune, also took jobs away from people that actually learned how to sing. Music is more robotic than it was in the 20th century and many dream jobs that people worked years for were taken away, and not nearly as many people cared as they do with AI art. "Pick up a pen" artists say, as they support music where they refused to learn how to play a real guitar.
