This is a very bias and inaccurate presentation.
You claim that human drivers have more accidents because they drive trillion of miles. You imply that Waymo has fewer accidents because it has driven fewer miles.
In fact, Waymo and regulators measure accidents in terms of miles driven. For each 1 million miles driven, humans are 3 to 10 times more likely to have accidents.
Additionally, humans tend to have higher speed accidents.
You are already MUCH safer in a Waymo than in any human driven car.
Additionally, many of the accidents involving Waymo cars were caused by other human drivers.
If all cars were self driving, the rate of accidents experienced by Waymo would be even lower.
This video is part of a predictable reaction to change. Some people want this video to be correct, because they don't like change.
