This is a hard topic. A similar uproar came up when photographs were first developed - artists who drew realistic portraits were scared and furious at this new technology, yet now we don't even bat an eye. We still appreciate realistic photograph-like artwork done by hand, but technically that same piece could have been made in an instant by a camera. Humans evolved to create art forms that distinguished themselves from photographs. The problem I see with AI art is that it's too all encompassing and the line between what is done by AI and what is done by a human is so blurred.
