The argument that you're taking a tool away from disabled artists that would make them be able to make art doesn't make sense because the recognition/assumption that the disabled person already makes art is baked into the first premise of the argument. If they're already making art, then why do they need AI? Just look at whatever tools they're already using to accomodate themselves. Saying they need an AI to generate the image for them is infantilising. And if someone genuinely can't make art without using AI, then they were never gonna make art anyway and they still aren't doing it with the AI, sorry. Not everyone can be an artist and that's okay. Just because something is never gonna be accessible to you, doesn't inherently mean there's any ableism happening.
