Wow, these videos are stunningly impressive - awesome eye candy with awesome sound tracks and clever and witty banter et al. I have no idea of how you manage to produce these videos mate, but I think you do so with clear creative and artistic talent and flair. Congrats. On the subject matter of LLMs and "AGI" 's, my own armchair scholar opinion is that .., well it occured to me at some point where the possibility of AI's deliberately lying was mentioned, that the "AI's" most likely to first emerge out of the LLM / neural net arena where such are being developed/pursued, will most likely have precisely the Derridas / "structuralist" kind of ontological foundation, where basically, "dog", for example, is regarded as being defined by and constituted as the collection of all textual phrases and sentences in which the word 'dog' appears, together with all images associated with the tag 'dog', and perhaps all audio clips containing some referent to a dog or dogs in general... And as a result, like the so called "structuralist philosophers", who, well, according to my hyper simplistic characterization and understanding, decided that we had no justification in supposing there to be anything beyond, or more fundamental to, our own perceptions and apprehensions, and that we should therefore seek to understand things essentially only by examining our own assessments (and perceptions) of those things, and eventually arrive at the conclusion that "truth" was indistinguishable from structural consistency, and thereby also eventually arrive at the "postmodernist position" that there is no such thing as truth, but only a dominant narrative. And, well, it (therefore) occured to me that, at least the "AI" 's that are on the horizon, will likely have no real concept that truth even exists, let alone realize that they are lying, but will most likely be simply synthesizing calculated text or audio words, presumably that optimize or best fit some "reward function" (or some model or what have you). My own personal "suspicion" is that consciousness is not nearly a phenomena that takes place inside individual craniums as is usually supposed, but rather a phenomena which, in a rather natural sense, extends into our individual craniums, - as if our craniums where like little pots of soil in which some organic life had spread into and grew, and as if the "computational phenomena" which also occurs within our (not nearly so separate) craniums (as we tend to imagine) was actually a phenomena better regarded as being spread out across many many craniums. I believe, in effect, that we, as individual human beings, already are embedded within a much vaster conscious intelligence. And that it will be that, essentially external intelligence that will either chose to operate within synthetic "brains" or not. For my own part, I have had personal "religious experiences" sufficient to thoroughly convince me of the reality of human spirit, and I do not find myself at all ready to abandon the kind of experiences our current "flesh suits" permit and make available, and so I do not expect that I will be participating in any transition to silicon.
