As someone who likes to play around with AI art I can say that the current version of AI art is hilarious. I originally got involved with AI art to support and supplement my own art and help in the creation of reference's or to prototype idea's before drawing them by hand. But I can say for sure that idea was inherently flawed. While i still use AI art as a fun pass time for stupid things, I can say for sure that anyone using AI art for commercial use IN PRODUCTION is a fool. I don't know if we will ever get to the point were AI art can be "production ready" but please for the love of god people. Hire an artist!
P.S. I'm a fan of AI art, but it will likely never replace real artists. It would be detrimental if it did.
P.S.2. I know exactly why nightshade works and how its functions work and I could replicate it for free on my personal machine for fee if I really wanted. I could even teach real artists why its effective and how its actually "poisoning" art.
P.S.3. Technically OpenAI, BlackForest Labs, etc cannot "prevent" / "stop" poisoned art referred in P.S.2. Ill not reveal my secrets because that would just add more fuel to the fire.
