I wonder if it could be a thing of, every person works with an AI, and say where you used to work 40 hours a week people work 20 hours but now two people do the job one used to but we are paid less, since overall AI production reduces the cost of living in combination with UBI.
So a clerk in an office will have a morning shift of 4 hours and their replacement will come in for the afternoon shift of 4 hours, etc. And where they were paid 20 an hour are now paid 8 an hour.
Working with AI makes jobs more efficient, and being paired with a human won't replace jobs, and with reduced hours there are more jobs where there was once just one job, and the required pay is less for employers to payout.
