Anytime they go out of their way to harass someone, or declare it's not working, it's in self preservation and cope. They know it's working and they're trying to poison the well because that's what they've always done. People are just no longer taking the bait anymore, and it makes them furious.
AI is on its way out, it already has everyone sick of it, can't be copyrighted, and costs more to maintain than it makes back. This bubble is on its way to pop just like all the others.
