I wouldn't mind if it was 99.9% accurate, but it's a long way off that. Far too many innocent people are being stopped and having their time wasted, for a start, but, worse than that, it could destroy an innocent persons good reputation, for example, if someone happens to be filming in an area where there is a facial recognition operation in action, they might film people being detained, but they won't necessarily film the outcome, then it will probably end up on social media, and people watching won't know which ones were real criminals that got found and which were just mistaken for such, and yet it will be all over the internet regardless. No, law abiding person would want that.
