Raw LLM Responses

This guy is talking rubbish. This kind of a future would be very beneficial to ELON, and Elon only, that's why he bounces up and down while talking about it, since none of his companies operate on or make their bottom line money from apps. Voice didn't work. It's why Alexa, Google Home, and other voice-based AI assistants didn't take off like they were supposed to. Siri was supposed to be "the OS" for Apple, and you talk to Siri and it does everything for you. As a user, I would not be interested in talking to the AI and saying "call me an uber from here to x" when I could just call it myself very quickly and verifiably. Most users will call it themselves rather than even type it into a chat window and risk either an AI screw-up, network latency from the AI interface to Uber's MCP/action extension, and many other possible points of failure. Furthermore, AI has a hallucinations problem that isn't going away. People are not always going to be direct and concise in their prompts, and that only furthers the problem. I don't foresee this vision coming true, things will get easier but at the end of the day, the customer is the ground truth.
