The part about not overhyping AI is what makes this worth watching. The honest reality is that AI is simultaneously making job hunting harder and giving job seekers better tools if they know where to look. What gets under-discussed is the double layer: AI is replacing roles but it is also doing the first-pass screening on applications. So even if a human eventually reviews your resume, an AI model likely already filtered out most submissions before anyone laid eyes on them. The document you submit is not read the way it was five years ago. It is parsed, scored, and ranked against the job posting. That is a different kind of challenge and requires a different kind of response than most job search advice actually covers.
