Not all AI art is the same tho. You can type a single sentence prompt, or a paragraph one inside of something like an open source UI with access to all kinds of tools and data you've never heard of. You can spend just as much time find tuning, editing, and creating using open source image gen than you would spending that time and effort painting. When I say this process can get complicated and deep, I'm understating. You could in theory spend far more time, effort, and knowledge on one AI generated image, than creating that same image yourself with a digital drawing tablet or even sketching. You can even create your own art that way, and edit it greatly with open source AI tools.
