I feel like striking is only going to solidify AI in the industries. There’s never been anything like this kind of AI before, and it’s not going away, we’re way past the point of no return. And let’s be honest here. These writers aren’t putting out anything original anymore, it’s all rehashed or modified concepts, like oh nooooo these rich medicore writers are scared of losing their jobs to a developing technology (that is still an infant), oh noo they are going to lose the job that makes them their bread and butter, like come on, acting like they can’t just unite and make their own studios with their money. And seriously, who would replace real human people with AI technology that’s just absurd. We need a humans touch to bring us human emotional entertainment that we can relate to. Large language AI currently is no where near that level of creation because you know what you have to do? Long ass prompt engineering to make something remotely make sense and good, don’t get me wrong with good prompt engineering you can make good stuff which is why writers should instead use it as a helpful tool (not to rely on) like some kind of Jarvis and stop thinking that we are in a sci fi age, we couldn’t even comprehend what real sci fi ai technology could be or entail.
