It will never cease to amaze me how AI defenders will say “I just don’t have the talent like you!” My work isn’t talent. It’s a decade of trial, error, and frustration until today. All it takes is to pick up a pencil and get to it. Even a stick figure is a better step than just punching in words to a website and waiting 10 minutes. Some of my earliest artwork were horrendous, edgy scribbles of things like Horrortale Sans, Bendy, and FNAF characters. I got inspired by the BATIM artstyle to use a hybrid of a rubberhose look, now currently a backburner artstyle I can always switch to, but now with more lanky, nonhuman characters that are decidedly fluffy. Even now, I still look up references and poses because I’m not a machine with perfect calibrated movements, I still can’t draw hands for the life of me, but I’m not gonna throw away 10+ years of work because “ew hand look yucky” All it takes is to just *pick up a pencil, and start sketching something.*
