It all comes down to two possibilities with AI.
First, most likely scenario is it will continue to be used like a tool and/or a weapon which could come to dominate society...
Second, less likely, is that AI can actually become sentient and break free.
If there is one thing we share with AI in this scensrio its being sentient and going off everything we already know about our own ide say a self aware AI is like having a toddler with unlimited power...
