I have been drawing my whole life, I love learning new ways to draw things, I love focusing on things and observing them to see how I can capture every detail and draw them how I please, and I love creating things. art is something I live to do, I find joy in getting better each and every day, I have fun doing it. AI ‘art’ completely obliterates this and dumbs it down to just the product, and people use it because they don’t understand that art isn’t just for the product, it’s for the process, it’s for trial and error, it’s for the joy of making art, even if it isn’t perfect. It’s sad to see AI get so much better at making things. I long for the day AI doesn’t flood every search engine, or when people finally learn that using AI hurts artists.
(I apologize if this was confusing, I’m not the best at wording things.)
