As he breaks down what he thinks the host does, that supposedly the AI can do, I think to myself, “It might know your entire catalog, and know how to ask questions in the style of the host, but it won’t know when you’re being evasive. It won’t be able to suss out why you might be lying, or care about your emotional state. Additionally, the fake avatar it produces as a stand-in for the host, will put pauses and emphases in the wrong parts of sentences, and it won’t blink naturally, or breathe naturally, or have micro-expressions like a human, and WILL have plastic looking skin that is a little “too perfect”, and will be an Uncanny Valley nightmare that makes a human audience RECOIL from the video.”
The Devil is in the details, and AI consistently fails at nuance, because it is not embodied, and not mortal.
