I’m totally siding with Sam.
I’m a young aspiring work-in-process artist and now that almost all of my favourite artists is speaking up against the rise of unethical AI training models, I do feel dull and hopeless about the future and reason for keep pursuing art.
We’ve got to do something. And do big. This whole AI thing is great, to the degree they serve as tools for inspirations, but as far as they are tools for commercials, for replacing the very artists that “unwantedly” taught them, it’s abominable.
