I think AI art has really exposed the upper echelons of the "art" community and how many millions upon billions are being laundered through art pieces. I don't think AI art should be treated as real art, but I also don't think we should be trying to sell individual paintings for multiple hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. Regardless of how much effort was put into it or who made it. Art- ALL art, including music, painting, drawing, writing, etc- is supposed to be an integral part of human society. Not a monetized career path.
