I can rather spend thousands of hours to learn how to draw at that level, and having to spend this equivalent time of a full-time job to create art in the style I need... or I can use AI art.... You look at this with a super narrow mindset... as an artist... while other people just need the art.... and don't have the time to dedicate to do it. People kind of said the same thing with Photoshop, and that soulless machines couldn't replace paper and canvas. This doesn't require AI at all, just a very different combo washer/dryer scheme that may legit already exist in some form. And it doesn't solve what's actually the tedious part of doing your laundry: folding it all. @zinxderobo 1 day ago well then nothing is stopping you or anyone else from doing it. So why aren't you? No one is forcing you to experiment with ai art so don't do it. Why are you wasting your time throwing a tantrum about AI because PEOPLE stole from you? Heaven forbid you realize you can make beautiful original things with it or that it has opened so many doors for people. "Never mind that part, I'm not going to consider any positives. I decided that this new tool is bad because I don't understand it and I fail to see that it's the people using it in a negative way that are to blame". You all seem to be missing the important little tidbit called free will. and the lack of ingenuity is frightening. The entire purpose of Nightshade is tldr:Ruining ai models by ruining their datasets if just one IMAGE is "stolen or used without paying money to the artist".
