"Chatgpt" and "i" in this sense are in fact two different entities, one is the over all website/company/concept and the other is that current model's "sense of self" (it's unclear weather Chatgpt even has a sense of self, but in language and whenever it is formulating, it clearly can make a distinction between "Chatgpt" and "itself (weather that is that instance, that prompt with the context, that specific model, that specific version or something else)).
But one way to interpret this is someone working in a company and saying something controvercial on television (can be broken down into [person], [department], [company] and more)
