Irony is people who dont understand the complexity of software design and functionality are the decision makers . They're impressed by demos . They failed to understand AI produces stochastic output it predicts the response based on patterns and with complex inputs or on a large scale it tends to hallucinate . AI doesnt do logic based operation to produce deterministic outputs. Managers expected quicker releases good code are now facing the heat complex production issues code rollbacks and redeveloping features. Amongst all this one positive is quiet people who know the system archutecture but speak less are getting the spotlight they deserved because their knowledge and debugging skills are saving the day during production incidents.
