No. Everyone is screwed. Business don't realize just how dependent laborers are to the economy. People will grow their gardens and barter with one another while they watch businesses go bankrupt from lack of sales. AI is going to destroy our way of life before employers wake up to the fact that few jobs equals less sales and less profits for everyone. We are not fooled, we know that the economy is already collapsing. The only question left for consumers is how long will it take for the business sector to realize no Jos equals no sales. One more inflation wave will seal the fate of consumerism in this country and other countries are in worse shape.
