I have come to an impasse: I… find AI kind of useful. For research purposes, at least. Google has become extremely unusable for me. I need answers to specific questions that I can’t find without using an AI. Like, for my conlang, I give it the words I do have and ask “what types of words do I need to make this a speakable language”? I’ll come up with the actual words on my own, but AI was useful in determining what types words I need. I don’t want to betray my fellow creatives. But I feel using AI helps my creative process somewhat, especially if I don’t know a lot about a subject and using Google feels like using a brick wall. I… I don’t know if this is right to do as a creative. I’m coming up with the ideas on my own, and simply asking AI about subjects I don’t know a lot about.
