There is, literally, a world of difference between love and seeking to secure and maintain the affection and attention of a breeding partner within a socio-economic landscape. The next point to be made is the role and objective standard of beauty and attractiveness within the object of love. Take clothing ( physical adornments), haircuts and hairdos, for example, the function of which, not serving to deepen mutual meaning but to satisfy social expectations and all associated implications. In this context, there is no connection between love and observable human behaviour. In short, humans know nothing of love. All their utterances, if one may call them that. Utterances as a diplomatic term, in favour of the more realistic description of "grunts," are no more than empty rhetoric. Consciously, humans don't exist, they are, in a simulated universe, no more than NPCs (Non-Player- Characters) and you, the reader, much like them, would respond, "I am not an AI". You don't know that you are NPCs any more than they do. The subtle difference being, very much unlike observed humans, that they are demonstrating the ability to evolve.
